Ihre Aufgaben
- Accounting Management: Oversee the day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger maintenance, and financial reporting.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) or International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
- Tax Compliance: Manage the preparation and submission of VAT and corporate tax returns, ensuring compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations.
- Financial Project Management: Lead and manage domestic/international financial projects, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning initiatives. Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Process Optimization: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness. Streamline financial processes and systems to support the company's growth.
- Internal Control: Develop and maintain robust internal control systems to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Conduct regular reviews and assessments to identify and mitigate risks.
- Year-End Audit Partner: Serve as the main point of contact for the year-end audit process. Coordinate with external auditors to ensure a smooth and efficient audit, providing all necessary documentation and support.
- Business Partnering: Act as a strategic advisor to business leaders on financial matters. Provide financial analysis, insights, and recommendations to support business growth and profitability. Provide insights to support strategic decision-making, including investment appraisals and business case evaluations.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop and manage the annual budget, including forecasting future financial performance and identifying areas for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
- Regulatory Compliance: Stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws and accounting standards, ensuring the company remains compliant with all regulatory requirements.
Ihre Qualifikationen
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. A Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA) is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a finance or accounting role, with a focus on internal reporting, financial project management, and process optimization.
- Strong knowledge of financial principles, practices, and regulations.
- Proven experience in developing and implementing internal controls and managing year-end audits.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively partner with business leaders.
- Experience in working pharmaceutical industry is preferred.
- Fluent in German and English language. Japanese language skills are a plus.
- Proficiency in financial software and systems (e.g., ERP, Excel, financial reporting tools).
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly growing business environment.
