Ihre Aufgaben

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in line with standard accounting practices
  • Support monthly and annual closing processes in coordination with the accounting team at Japan HQ
  • Prepare tax-related documentation, including VAT filings and supporting materials
  • Collect, organize, and analyze financial data from sales, inventory, and other relevant sources
  • Manage day-to-day financial operations such as expense tracking, payment processing, and invoicing
  • Liaise with external tax advisors and auditors as necessary
  • Provide general administrative support to ensure smooth office operations

Ihre Qualifikationen

  • Solid grasp of fundamental accounting concepts, including journal entries and account reconciliation
  • Knowledge of bookkeeping.
  • Proficiency in Excel functions such as VLOOKUP, SUMIF, and Pivot Tables.
  • Experience with ERP systems is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of accounting procedures and ability to apply them in day-to-day financial operations.
  • Strong command of Microsoft Excel to manage, analyze, and present financial data accurately.
  • Business-level proficiency in Japanese.
  • Intermediate or higher proficiency in German or English.
