Our client, a Japanese manufacturing company is looking for Sales Manager position.

Development and implementation of sales strategies to increase sales
Active acquisition of new customers at home and abroad as well as maintenance and expansion of existing Customer relationships
Identification and analysis of new market trends and technologies in the field of Gear technology; carrying out market and competitive analyses for Identification of potentials and risks
Advice and support to customers in technical and commercial questions relating to Gear cutting machines
Conducting product presentations, technical training and Sales events at customers' locations and at international trade fairs
Close cooperation with internal departments in Japan and the USA to ensure optimal customer service and successful

Project management

Preparation and negotiation of offers, calculation and conclusion of contracts in coordination with the management and the project team
Ensuring the successful implementation of customer projects and tracking the After-sales support

Educational qualifications: Successfully completed studies in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering or a comparable qualification
Professional experience: Several years of professional experience in sales, key account, management, (application) technology of gear cutting tools and/or machines
Very good knowledge of German and English

Special knowledge / skills:

Sound knowledge of gear and transmission technology as well as understanding of the technical requirements and processes
Proven success in the sales of machine tools in the gear cutting industry and/or in developing new markets / customers
