Our client is a manufacturer of materials and components used in the paper industry. The company is currently looking for a technical maintenance engineer in their office in Düsseldorf to strengthen its sales activities in the UK, Spain, Poland, and Italy.

Ihre Aufgaben
- Perform regular maintenance on equipment
- Identify and address new customer needs
- Create detailed installation drawings and diagrams
- Conduct meetings with customers to discuss installation schedules and task responsibilities
- Oversee and execute equipment installation
- Monitor and follow up on the performance and effectiveness of installed equipment
- Act as the primary point of contact for assigned customer, especially in UK, Poland, Spain and Italy
- Sales tasks may be added in the future if desired
Ihre Qualifikationen
- Several years of experience in a similar role (e.g. sales engineer, technical sales engineer, field service engineer, mechanical engineer etc.) in the paper industry is preferred
- Business-level proficiency in English and proficiency in Spanish, Polish or Italian is a Plus
- A valid driver’s license
- Willingness and ability to travel frequently, with over 50% of the month spent on business trips
- Proven experience in equipment maintenance and creating technical diagrams
- Strong sense of responsibility and the ability to build and maintain trust with clients
- Strong communication skills to engage with both customers and company agents while focusing on engineering tasks
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
